Aunia Kahn was born December 5th, 1977, a Sagittarius and creative soul from birth and raised in Detroit, MI. While growing up in an explosive and unpredictable home environment she sought refuge through creativity in art, music and acting, which she always felt was close to her souls purpose.

Kahn's work combines many disciplines, wrapping them into one hybrid art form melding photography, painting and collage. She invariably created, designs, builds, and executes characters, non-existent places, dreams, illusions, fears and fables. Her work has appeared in several publications, and has been shared with the public in hundreds of showings to date.

From a metaphysical aspect she has always been extremely interested in the supernatural, divination, and things used to guild the souls paths or talk to us in ways deeper than the obvious, especially ancient classic ways. Tarot cards were something she felt she needed to learn, and in doing so she created each of the 78 cards as a way to study the idea of tarot and to learn to be a proficient reader. The project was long intense but extremely education and rewarding. She also finds interest in fung shui, yoga, crystals, urban exploration, the Victorian and WWII eras.

Aunia creates music, lyrics, and words for the band AfterChain, is a writer, and a graphic and web designer. Aunia currently resides in Illinois with her 6 rescue animals (4 dogs, 2 cats).
