Kahn's work combines many disciplines, wrapping them into one hybrid art form melding photography, painting and collage. She invariably created, designs, builds, and executes characters, non-existent places, dreams, illusions, fears and fables. Her work has appeared in several publications, and has been shared with the public in numerous exhibitions to date.

From a metaphysical aspect she has always been extremely interested in the supernatural, divination, and things used to guild the souls paths or talk to us in ways deeper than the obvious, especially ancient classic ways. Tarot cards were something she felt she needed to learn, and in doing so she created each of the 78 cards as a way to study the idea of tarot and to learn to be a proficient reader. The project was long, intense, but extremely educational and rewarding. She is also the creator of the Lowbrow Tarot Project. Some of her interests include in fung shui, yoga, crystals, urban exploration, the Victorian and WWII eras.

Motivated by traditional, yet a questioning recognition of religion, published author Russell J. Moon continues to explore realities within divination and the concepts of God and a “higher power”.  To this end the intertwining reflections of positive energy and enlightenment have been taken and expressed through the combined interpretations of himself and artist Aunia Kahn in the “Silver Era Tarot” deck.  Ultimately, the companion book is one unique interpretation of many possible, varying aspects of tarot; it is as different as the deck itself is to others.  The reader is encouraged to further pursue meanings that may be personal to themselves, as he hopes to inspire and intrigue others to establish and investigate their own understanding of tarot and all things that bring a person to a closer consciousness understanding.
